Classes of Remote Gaming License

Class 1 Remote Gaming Licence shall be an online gaming licence (ex: interactive games, casinos, community games, lotteries, slots, etc.). For operators who partake in unlimited risk on games depending on repetitive occurrences - risk taking on repetitive games generated by random events.

Class 2 Remote Gaming Licence shall be an online betting office licence (ex: sports betting, etc.). For operators who manage their risk on a singular event - risk taking by creating a market and backing that market.

Class 3 Remote Gaming Licence shall be a licence to promote and abet gaming from Malta. For operators who promote or a bet gaming from Malta (ex: P2P, Betting Exchanges, Bingo, Poker, Tournaments, etc.).

Class 4 Remote Gaming Licence shall be a licence to host and manage online gaming operators, excluding the licensee himself. For companies who host and manage other remote gaming operators, other then themselves (platform operators or software vendors).
