Particular Skills Required This position calls for a candidate with a strong and persistent problem solving mentality, who is able to see both the big picture and attend to details. Applicants will take pride and satisfaction in implementing systems and processes which will result in operational excellence together with the ability to act with a high degree of independence, bringing solutions for approval rather than waiting for guidance from senior management. He/she must be able and willing to travel.
Experience Applicants will have at least 7 years of relevant work experience in high calibre roles, ideally within call centre environment and/or financial related product/service. Experience with framing and developing policies and procedures together with management experience in a development-oriented company.
Education Level University Graduate
Description of Duties The Operations Advisor will be responsible for two streams of work: project managing the standardisation effort as a whole, overseeing and coordinating inputs of various projects/local teams and leading and completing work in the operational categories defined below. Duties will include mapping, refining and/or defining processes, policies, systems, and requirements for each operational area. The objective is to establish, innovate and standardise an operational backbone that will ensure effective, secure and consistent operations in all regions where the company works. The resulting operational platform is expected to involve two dimensions – a core set of policies and procedures that represent the company’s central position on all operational matters, and guidelines for localised applications of the core requirements to field and locations with different legal, security and operating environments.
