Particular Skills Required This position calls for a flexible team player with strong verbal and visual communication skills and the ability to think outside the box. Candidates will have strong skills in user experience; Photoshop and Illustrator basic skills in HTML.
Experience Applicants will at least have a 5 year solid track record in top of the line web design.

Description of Duties The Head of Design and User Interaction will be responsible for creating the look and feel for the future for the site portfolio of the company (mainly the Gambling and Mortageloan segment of sites) with a lot of focus on user experience, entertainment and user interaction. Main responsibilities include making sure that there’s a project specification with project goals and impact goals before a design project starts, and also knowing when this is not needed; dividing larger projects into smaller milestones with time estimates using Scrum; seeing the big picture in a project from a commercial point of view; pointing out and visualizing benefits of the page/product; understanding what main focus to communicate to fulfill project goals; increasing usability on web pages and conversion rate on web pages communicating what content is needed to “fill” the design and usability and functions specifications ; knowing where to put in effort in a project to fulfill goals and meet time estimates; communicating and delivering to multiple clients no matter how big or small their request may be; reviewing the final product to make sure design is being implemented correctly and produce all kinds of design related things. Other tasks will include leading the design phase in projects; using facts and statistics during analysis phase; presenting facts and statistics when presenting a solution/design; creating conceptual and communicative graphic design; improving design on existing sites; creating design on new sites and designing websites from a usability, SEO and conversion perspective.
