STC Higher Education launches PRINCE 2 Practitioner Certificate

on 01 June 2021

STC Higher Education launches PRINCE2® Practitioner Certificate course! It is an exclusive 2-week program that provides applicants with an extended theoretical and practical knowledge of PRINCE2, the best non-proprietary practice model that ensures project delivery is on time, on budget and of high quality.

What is PRINCE2?

PRINCE2 is an acronym for Projects IN Controlled Environments and is one of the most widely used methods for managing projects in the world. It’s a process-based method for managing a project and is heavily used by the government in the UK, including the private sector and other countries around the world.

The key components of PRINCE2 focus on business justification, defining the structure of an organization for the project management team and using a product-based approach. There’s an emphasis on dividing the project into manageable and controllable stages, with flexibility. PRINCE2 provides great control over project resources and excels at managing business and project risk more effectively.

This course educates participants in all aspects of the PRINCE2 methodology, including its practical application. It covers the eight core components and processes of PRINCE2 at a very detailed level, including all sub-processes and techniques. Exercises are based on real-life case studies to ensure that participants learn the practical application of PRINCE2 theory.

What is the methodology behind PRINCE2?

The PRINCE2 methodology is used to answer and structure the basic questions of project management, such as:

•What are you trying to do?

•When will you start it?

•What do you need to execute it?

•Do you need help?

•How long will it take?

•How much will it cost?
