Our client is looking for a Client Implementation Specialist to be based in London and join the Risk team . The selected candidate will trade surveillance and market abuse detection solution to help manage the insider trading risk of some of the best Hedge Funds trading on the company's platform.

Description:
  • Identify and analyse business issues and propose solutions
  • Develop processes for data extraction, cleansing, manipulation, and analysis
  • Work directly with the company's clients to onboard them onto the in-house software products, conducting training sessions and managing/responding to client feedback
  • Communicate and effectively manage implementation requirements and expectations
  • Provide diagnostic support and issue resolution for the company's software products and solutions
  • Provide support for continuous integration, test automation and source code control and review processes for the company's software products and solutions
  • Manage the software product and solution releases and upgrades
  • Maintain procedural documentation and update as necessary
  • Constantly evaluate processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies, make recommendations for improvements, and run these through with stakeholders
  • Perform other ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary
Requirements:
  • A preference to candidates with a Degree in either computer science, information technology, maths, or similar
  • Two years’ experience in FinTech, preferably in financial services or an investment technology company
  • Good working knowledge of database concepts and SQL required
  • A solid understanding of financial instruments and hedge fund operations preferred
  • Experience with Git, TeamCity, and best practices preferred
  • Experience with debugging C# code, Python and familiarity with unit testing frameworks a distinct advantage
  • Experience with Tableau, and/or SQL Server Reporting Services a distinct advantage
  • Demonstrated professional integrity, dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new company initiatives and changing client needs
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Highly motivated and goal oriented; proactive in one’s own education and career, volunteering and showing initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks

  • Reasonably available for client work outside of normal business hours and weekends
