As the Compliance Assistant, you will be working closely with Head of Department on insurance compliance.

- The responsibilities of supervision in the Compliance matters for the organization and the Company;
- Keep updated with new EU directives and regulatory requirements;
- Intermediary activities and supervision;
- Conduct of business rules and related supervisions on how we manufacture, distribute and monitor our products;
- Compliance training programs;
- Regular compliance reviews of our operations;
- Ensure that the company meets regulatory timelines;
- Work with the Company’s Managers and teams on compliance awareness and provide guidance on compliance related matters;
- Assist to devise an annual compliance plan;
- Assist with the implementation and evaluate the compliance policy wordings and monitor their implementation for related activities to ensure and promote an institutional culture favourable to compliance;
- Coordinate compliance releases with the various departments to ensure that the staff is knowledgeable of and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards;
- Support the compliance team with initiatives;
- Assist with minute taking of some committee meetings on an ad hoc basis;
- Keep the complaints Register updated and assist in resolving day-to-day customer complaints as and when they arise and reporting thereof.
- Project and manage product development teams for their respective areas of the Company’s business;
- Other duties focused on compliance and related duties.
