Duties include:
- Keeping updated with new EU directives and regulatory requirements;
- Intermediary activities and supervision
- Conducting of business rules and related supervisions on how the company manufactures, distributes and monitors products;
- Compliance training programs;
- Ensuring that the company meets regulatory timelines;
- Working with the Company’s Managers and teams on compliance awareness and provide guidance on compliance related matters;
- Assisting to devise an annual compliance plan;
- Coordinating compliance releases with the various departments to ensure that the staff is knowledgeable of and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards;
- Supporting the compliance team with initiatives;
- Keeping the complaints Register updated and assist in resolving day-to-day customer complaints as and when they arise and reporting thereof.
- Project and managing product development teams for their respective areas of the Company’s business
- Other duties as may be required
- Candidates must hold least 1-2 years compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of compliance and AML regulations
- Experience in in the insurance industry is considered an asset
- The chosen candidate be meticulous and hold attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English
