Duties include:
- Ensuring that licensees are at all times compliant with the laws and regulations in accordance with the law;
- Reviewing any due diligence documents and following up with the Criminal Probity Team for relevant vetting, in respect of licensees;
- Maintaining information on all licensees up to date on the Authority’s systems and databases’;
- Offering investigative support to other areas of the Authority as instructed by management.
- Issuing regular compliance reports as instructed by management;
- Co-ordinating with licensees and following up on changes within corporate entities, changes within the corporate structure, changes in directors, key persons, games and/or game providers, registered/operating addresses and other company statutory changes;
- Participating in meetings and/or calls with prospective applicants and licensees and handling of general queries received via e-mail or telephone;
- Liaising with licensees and other key stakeholders, keeping them abreast of changes in compliance requirements;
- Keeping up to date with developments, policies and procedures issued by other institutions in relation to the industry;
- Attending training, conferences and fora as required
- Carrying out tasks as instructed by the Senior Executive and Compliance Manager.
- In possession of a Degree level (MQF Level 6) or higher in Business/Management related subjects.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Compliance related role.
- Experience in the gaming industry shall be considered an asset.
- Experience in commerce and/or accountancy and/or finance shall be considered an asset.
