Requirements:
- Reviewing documentation submitted by gaming operators further to an application for a new Licence (including but not limited to application forms, Business Plan review and review of applicant’s operational policies and procedures);
- Reviewing documentation submitted with applications for any new request for authorisation or notifications (including but not limited to Share Transfers, change in channels/verticals, changes to existing policies and changes in the Technical Setup in terms of new games/live studio facilities);
- Conducting risk assessments of assigned applications as well as evaluating the sources of funds and/or wealth of applicants where required;
- Reviewing of system and compliance audit reports, and conducting live studio audits where required;
- Ensuring that operators are compliant with the applicable legislation, and are operating in accordance with the Authority’s directives and policies;
- Formulating; and/or assist in the development/formulation of; and/or maintaining processes/policies to achieve the objectives of the Department as may be communicated from time to time;
- Liaising with other Departments as necessary;
- Carrying out special investigations or other assignments that may be requested from time to time;
- Participating in meetings and/or calls with prospective applicants or general queries;
- Attending training, conferences and fora as required by the Organization;
- Ensuring the goals and functions of the Organization and the Department are met and that professional standards are maintained at all times;
- Carrying out any other duties/tasks as may be instructed from time to time by the Senior Executive, Team Lead, Manager, Head and/or Chief Regulatory Officer.
- In possession of a Degree majoring in Business, Management, Finance or equivalent; or
- In possession of a Degree in any area and three years relevant experience in the gaming industry;
- Knowledgeable in accounting practices;
- Be capable of working within a team, manage multiple engagements and work to demanding deadlines;
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment;
- Ability to identify high risk areas and organise and present findings and recommendations in a concise manner (both verbal and written);
- Be smart, highly motivated, well presented and with good communication and organisational skills;
- Thinks analytically and acts strategically;
- Takes ownership and actions.
