A vacancy has arisen to join our client as an Associate or Senior Associate in their Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions team.
Duties:
• Company formation and continuation of companies to and from Malta;
• Shareholder agreements and joint venture agreements;
• Directors’ duties, corporate governance, and corporate compliance;
• Mergers & acquisitions;
• Issues of equity and debt securities on regulated markets and secondary offerings;
• Insolvency and restructuring; and
• General corporate and commercial law matters.
Requirements:
• Possess a Law degree and warrant to practice as an advocate in Malta;
• Have good written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese;
• Have at least 2 years’ experience in corporate law;
• Be pro-active and able to work against tight deadlines; and
• Be willing to undergo continued professional development and training.
