Duties include:
- Carrying out a qualitative review of applications received by the company to ensure that companies have submitted the required documentation, applications are complete and the respective fees have been paid;
- Reviewing any due diligence documents and following up with the due diligence team for relevant vetting, in respect of new applications, share and license transfer requests;
- Maintaining information on all companies up to date on the systems and databases;
- Processing applications Key Persons and other Certificates;
- assisting with the application for Authorisations and renewals of such Authorisations
- Co-ordinating with applicants and following up on any license conditions;
- Reviewing and drafting documentation for any other additional changes, such as changes within corporate entities, changes within the corporate structure, changes in directors, key persons, and other company statutory changes;
- Participating in meetings and/or calls with prospective applicants and handling of general queries received via e-mail or telephone;
- Assisting in the development/formulation of; and/or maintaining processes/policies to achieve the objectives of the Department as may be communicated from time to time;
- Attending training, conferences and fora
- Carrying out any other duties/tasks as may be instructed from time to time by his/her superiors.
- In possession of an undergraduate Degree
- Candidates must hold previous corporate experience and have experience in handling a portfolio of clients
- Experience in business , commerce, accountancy/finance and/or IT shall be considered an asset;
- Be capable of working within a team, manage multiple engagements and work to demanding deadlines;
- Ability to identify high risk areas and organise and present findings and recommendations in a concise manner (both verbal and written);
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment;
- Ability to think and act strategically;
