An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Services Officer to join an established company operating within the gaming industry. 

As an Officer within the Authorisations Department, the candidate will be  assisting  in the processing of all applications, issuing of approvals and in keeping information on all licensee up-to-date. 

Duties include: 

  • Carrying out a qualitative review of applications received to ensure that companies have submitted the required documentation, applications are complete and the respective fees have been paid;

  • Reviewing any due diligence documents and following up with Criminal Probity Team for relevant vetting, in respect of new applications, share and license transfer requests;

  • Maintaining information on all licensees up to date on the Authority’s systems and databases;

  • Processing and issuing approvals for Key Persons and other Certificates;

  • Drafting and issuing Authorisations and renewals of such Authorisations granted by the Authority;

  • Co-ordinating with Licensees and following up on any license conditions;

  • Reviewing and drafting approvals for any other additional changes, such as changes within corporate entities, changes within the corporate structure, changes in directors, key persons, games and/or game providers, register/operating address and other company statutory changes;

  • Participating in meetings and/or calls with prospective applicants and licensees and handling of general queries received via e-mail or telephone;

  • Assisting in the development/formulation of; and/or maintaining processes/policies to achieve the objectives of the Department as may be communicated from time to time;

  • Attending training, conferences and fora as required 

Requirements: 

  • In possession of an undergraduate Degree

  • Experience in the gaming industry shall be considered an asset;

  • Experience in business , commerce, accountancy/finance and/or IT shall be considered an asset;

  • Be capable of working within a team, manage multiple engagements and work to demanding deadlines;

  • Ability to identify high risk areas and organise and present findings and recommendations in a concise manner (both verbal and written);

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment;

  • Thinks analytically and acts strategically;

  • Takes ownership and actions
