- Nurture and guide a team with professional and technical development, both locally and abroad
- Make sure that the company is ahead of the technology that is already 'out there' in a way that champions the disruptive nature of the company's brand

- Growing the team strategically, adding talent where necessary that will help the company compete across multiple markets
- Post-tertiary level of education within a tech remit
- Vast practical experience in CRM systems (Dynamic 365, Engage), DB(Postgres) and Security
- Experience with a Java tech stack (spring-boot based micro-service backend, angular micro-frontends, native ios/android mobile apps developed in Kotlin and Swift)
- A strong familiarity with modern cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, modern agile development practices (including DevOps).
- Familiarity with and understanding of the IT industry, in a holistic manner, and the role of the CTO (including digital transformation, executive management, change management, cybersecurity, business model innovation, automation and intelligent systems, and trends, use of metrics, etc.).
- Experience leading diverse teams (Development, DevOps, QA, Infrastructure), including the use of third party resources.
- Exposure to the mobility industry (ride-hailing, delivery services etc) and with big data and machine learning/AI
