Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting according to IFRS and regulatory reporting under Solvency II requirements
- Implementation of IFRS 17 according to local and group specific requirements
- Quarterly financial reporting and quality assurance
- Preparing financial statements as well as quarter-end and annual reports for local reporting purposes and regulatory requirements
- Producing, managing and presenting Solvency II Pillar 3 deliverables
- Developing and implementing consistent and compliant group-wide and local policies and guidelines for IFRS 17 and Solvency II
- Other accounting, reporting and quality assurance duties assigned and related to the finance area are possible incl. peer review work from other team members
- Strong accounting and financial reporting capabilities according to IFRS or US GAAP
- University Degree in accounting or an equivalent qualification such as ACCA
- Advanced technical expertise and experience in IFRS 17 and/or Solvency II reporting
- Technical insurance accounting experience and SAP background
- Experience in technically guiding and managing staff
- Distinctive analytical and conceptual skills
- Pro-active as well as result and solution oriented
- Excellent communication skills and interface management to all levels of management
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of German would be considered an asset
