Our client is currently on the lookout for a Head of SEO where you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our websites, working with stakeholders to shape the vision and strategy for those sites, and help our client drive its continued growth in the iGaming affiliation products. If you are passionate about SEO, enjoy leading a team of driven individuals, and want a challenge in an industry that focuses on organic search traffic, this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute new SEO strategies with your team to ensure our assets get better exposure in organic search results, as well as growing organic traffic on our domains across multiple markets.
  • Actively monitor and report to all stakeholders on the performance of our portfolio of domains.
  • Monitor changes in the SEO landscape and adjust our practices to allow us to take advantage of those changes.
  • Suggest and implement data-driven changes to our SEO strategy to help us achieve our business goals.
  • Manage the SEO team, offering the individuals training and assistance to help them grow in their careers.
  • Foster the right environment for multidisciplinary teamwork between SEO and all other departments to ensure that the teams successfully execute the company strategy.
  • Ensure all site releases are SEO friendly and won’t negatively impact our sites.
  • Deep dive into any site issues and be able to quickly determine remedial behaviour.
  • Drive SEO audits of our portfolio to pre-empt possible issues.
  • Ensure all newly developed site assets meet SEO best practices.
  • Be comfortable with data-driven presentations.

Requirements:

  • Have at least 5 years’ experience in SEO and at least 2 years’ experience in managing a team. Strong leadership skills are a must.
  • As our sites generate organic traffic (rather than ad traffic), you should demonstrate proven success with this traffic source.
  • A strong analytical mindset and the ability to articulate data-driven solutions to non-technical teams.
  • Experience and understanding of major SEO tools and their uses/limitations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and other media technologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as php would be an asset.
