Duties include:
- Provide clerical support to the HR department;
- Assist Line Managers and the HR Manager with the recruitment process;
- Assist in the drafting of contracts and coordinating the engagement and termination process of employees;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records and documents with integrity and confidentiality;
- Submit employee information to the relevant authorities and departments;
- Liaise with the payroll team to ensure that any updates reach them in time for the monthly payroll;
- Take charge of the induction process for new employees and assist in ongoing training;
- Assist the HR Manager on any employee complaints and provide support to resolve conflicts;
- Assist with performance management process;
- Assist the HR Manager with the planning and execution of events;
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.
- A minimum A' Level standard of education, with at least 6 months' experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge of the Maltese Employment law and experience in liaising with Maltese entities will be preferred;
- Excellent communication skills, assertive with impeccable fluency in written and spoken English;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- An eye-for-detail and able to work autonomously;
- Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Highly computer literate with MS Office Suite.
