Description:
- Maintain hardware infrastructure, including but not limited to network devices, servers, workstations, and other office equipment.
- Perform system maintenance and system upgrades including routine updates, WiFi maintenance, service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
- Monitor the performance and ensure system availability and reliability including data backups and restores.
- Monitor system resource utilization and perform capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot and provide support to resolve issues.
- Participate in and contribute towards the implementation of IT related projects.
- Analyzing and responding to security threats from various security platforms and technologies.
- Serving as liaison and point of contact for new issues and vetting on all cyber security issues.
- Analyzing and responding to security threats from various security platforms and technologies.
- Monitoring, tracking, and reporting mitigation and resolution of information security risks.
- Effectively communicating key risks, findings, and recommendations for improvement with key stakeholders.
- Maintaining and documenting the organization’s IT security policies.
- Handling communication with 3rd party contractors and suppliers.
- Other IT-related responsibilities that may be required from time to time.
- Candidates must have a degree level of education. Alternatively, they must have MCSA, Azure and/or CCNA qualification.
- In addition, candidates with other certifications such as CEH, ITIL and Microsoft Certified Azure Certification will be strongly considered.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills together with a strong understanding and experience of virtualization technologies.
- A minimum of two (2) years working in a similar role. Candidates with longer working experience relevant to the role will be preferred.

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing gaming in Malta shall be considered an asset.
