Internal Audit Manager

This vacancy is located in the southern part of Malta.

Chosen candidate will be responsible for developing annual internal audit plans and performing risk assessments on key business activities within the organisation.

• Liaising with management and assist via a consulting role in the implementation of audit recommendations;
• Conducting annual Value for Money Audits;
• Liaising with the National Audit Office and the government’s Internal Audit and Investigation Department (IAID);
• Providing ad hoc advice and guidance to managers and staff at all levels
• Providing support and guidance to management on how to handle new opportunities
• Managing a variety of stakeholders and their expectations through regular communications;
• Conducting any other audits, internal investigations or any other ad hoc assignments as requested by the Audit Committee or Board of Directors.

• Degree Level of Education with previous experience leading an Internal Audit function. Qualifications in Accounting and/or Law will be considered an asset;
• CISA qualification will be considered an asset;
• Certified Internal Auditor Certification (CIA);
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment;
• Takes responsibility and ownership of tasks at hand;
• Possess excellent investigative and analytical skills.
