Our Client is seeking to recruit a full time IT Help Desk Support Officer. He/She will provide basic IT desktop support level support, installation of desktop operating systems and troubleshooting. First-line support, installations, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, network, and peripherals.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing support for hardware, software, network, telephony and peripherals.
- Supporting remote clients either on site or via remote connection
- Ensuring that all PCs are installed with the latest anti-virus signatures and security patches.
- Conducting one to one user training where necessary.
- Contacting vendors regarding equipment and supply purchases.
- Researching current technical trends.
- Assisting in planning and being involved in projects.
