Our client is looking for an IT Auditor to join its Compliance team and who will primarily conduct/review audits and reports conducted on all types of gaming operations and affiliated entities. The selected candidate will ensure compliance with the applicable laws, regulations and directives as applicable.

Description:
  • Reviewing documentation submitted by gaming operators further to a:
    • new process (including but not limited to application forms; agreements; technical documentation; all policies and procedures; business, financial and game analysis; change or transfer of licence); and/or compliance review
    • Liasing accordingly with other departments and gaming operators.
  • Ensuring that operators submit relevant documentation which are compliant with the applicable law and operate in accordance with the Authority’s directives and policies. In fulfilling his/her tasks, the auditor is expected to:
    • review and monitor compliance of gaming operators’ systems and submit recommendations;
    • ensure completion of audit assignments, and to provide independent, objective assurance;
    • ensure final reports are issued with all recommendations;
    • oversee and provide quality control on Prudential Compliance audits;
    • formulate; and/or assist in the development/formulation of; and/or maintain processes/policies to achieve the objectives of the Department as may be communicated from time to time.
  • Liaising with other Departments on prudential compliance matters, as necessary.
  • Carry out targeted audits when necessary. To ensure the goals and functions of the Authority and the Department are met and that professional standards are maintained at all times.
  • Carry out any other duties/tasks as may be instructed from time to time by his/her superiors.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems (MQF Level 6)
  • Possession/currently pursuing recognized certification to undertake IT audits (such as CISA or equivalent)
  • Experience in information systems and financial auditing will be considered as an asset
  • Be capable of working within a team, manage multiple engagements and work to demanding deadlines
  • Ability to identify and report on sensitive issues
  • Be smart, highly motivated, well presented and with good communication skills
  • Organised and having impeccable report writing skills
  • Leads and develops others, strategic thinker and takes ownership/actions accordingly
