Duties include:
- Propose specific development strategies to the board to expand and grow the business;
- In charge of operational activities and execution of strategic goals as sanctioned by the board; accountability with respect to performance across group companies
- Responsibility for the development, amendment and implementation of policies and procedures and ensures that these are locally executed in line with the group requirements;
- Ensures compliance of regulated group companies
- Reports to the Board of Directors
- Leading the office, inclusive of human resources and financials; management of group companies;
- Incorporation, management and termination of Trusts, Foundation and Companies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master degree in operational management or another business/ financial services related area or law with solid knowledge of the other areas;
- STEP Diploma (or equivalent) would be an added value;
- Trained in company, trust and foundation law
- Ideally PQed by the MFSA;
- Strategic planner with good organisational skills with experience in a similar role with a strong background in business management and financial services;
- High entrepreneurial thinking and pro-active, energetic, analytical and hands-on approach
- Strong leader and motivator, confident is taking initiative
- Excellent communicational skills and cultivated appearance
- Trustworthy, credible and influential individual
- Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
