We are thrilled to invite applications for the position of Risk Management Analyst on behalf of our esteemed client in the financial industry.

  • Preparing credit assessments for new and existing credit facilities including supporting financial analyses and risk recommendations;
  • Analysing financial reports and business plans in support of the Bank’s new business portfolio development;
  • Ensuring that requests for new credit facilities fall within the Bank’s risk appetite;
  • Keeping abreast with, compiling, and analysing market based and industry specific information and developments;
  • Assisting with the monitoring of the Bank’s investment portfolio;
  • Assist in the completion of periodic risk management reports; 
  • Handling of ad hoc requests from Senior Management and external 
  • stakeholders;
  • Monitoring and tracking changes in the credit ratings of the Bank’s risk exposures;
  • Supporting the risk team in handling all deliverables associated with regulatory risk management requirements;
  • Assist in the ongoing updates and compiling of risk management policies, 
  • procedures and related documentation in support of proper risk governance;
  • Be knowledgeable and up to date on the Bank’s significant risks;
  • Keeping abreast with the relevant Banking and risk-related regulations; and
  • Assist in the monitoring of ICT and security risk management controls.

  • A professional qualification in Banking, Finance, or related areas;
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar or related role;
  • Previous experience in banking or experience in a similar role will be considered an asset;
  • Good quantitative and analytical background;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including advanced MS Excel;
  • Fluent in both written and spoken business English and Maltese;
  • Proactive attitude and able to work on own initiative;
  • Possess high integrity and professional ethics; and
  • Knowledge of ICT and security risk management internal controls will be considered favourably.
