Our client specializes in the manufacturing of a variety of health foods, is currently looking for a positive and energetic individual to join our team as a Sales Manager. 

 
Responsibilities:
-    Managing existing customers and negotiating with them on discounts, shelf space, and chiller/freezer space.
-    Authorizing sales orders on a daily basis.
-    Authorizing volume rebates for customers.
-    Creating a positive experience by providing top-tier customer service to customers through a consultative selling approach.
-    Leading and managing the Merchandising team.
-    Organising foreign supplier market visits.
-    Overseeing the activities and performance of the Sales team, including a Sales Administrator.
-    Coordinating with the Marketing Department on lead generation and new product development.
-    Providing recommendations, based on market insight and knowledge, on pricing approaches.
-    Developing and training the Sales, Merchandising team and Sales Administrator by motivating them, ensuring products knowledge and guide/assist when needed.
-    Attending management meetings and discussing different strategies to reach Company goals. 
-    Setting targets according to the Company goals and incentivising the Sales team to meet the said targets.

Requirements:
-    At least 5 years of sales experience (some of which is experience within an FMCG sales and distribution environment).
-    Excellent commercial skills.
-    Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
-    Experience in customer relationships.
-    Experience in managing and directing a Sales team.
-    Have a hands-on approach.
-    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
