An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the most established companies that provide compliance regulatory services as a Compliance General Manager. The candidate will be responsible for effectively managing the compliance business in line with agreed standards.


Our client is a leading provider of regulatory compliance services.


Some of the duties include:

  • managing a set up for new clients in accordance with standards
  • maintaining compliance infrastructure in accordance with standards
  • performing compliance duties in accordance with a plan agreed by the client
  • producing client reports
  • providing client updates on regulatory developments
  • participating in pitching services
  • managing client profitability on clients for which you are responsible
  • Quality Control – undertaking, reviewing and signing -off client reports
  • Client servicing – monitoring the timeliness of visits and reports and other client deliverables
  • managing the business in line with the operating budget
  • developing the brand identity in the marketplace
  • increasing the level of strategic engagement with clients and key market influencer
  • being involved in the management of client accounts and relationships with partners
  • developing and implementing a client contact plan
  • organizing annual client service meetings
  • actively selling new products and services to clients
  • developing and implementing a cross selling plan to maximise cross-sell of services
  • overseeing the transition of Compliance Officer roles from senior management
  • improving quality and efficiency of operations
  • utilizing technology to deliver high-quality services to clients


  • This position calls for a smart, committed individual with excellent communication skills
  • Candidates must hold significant financial services compliance experience, ideally focused on buy-side firms
  • Proven track record of MFSA expertise or knowledge of a similar regulatory regime
  • Candidates must hold an excellent understanding of broader European regulations
  • Proven track record of managing a team and developing staff
  • Candidates must have the ability to review, improve and implement compliance processes and procedures
  • Candidates must also be willing to take on compliance officer responsibilities
