Introduction

The primary responsibility of the Public Relations Executive is to plan and manage the annual public relations and marketing activities to support the business objectives of our client. PR Executive will be responsible for building a strong communications network around the group and raise awareness of the company and its brand.

Organization

Our client is a major group incorporating various companies well involved in the hospitality and construction industry.

Function

  • Devising creative public relations strategies that fit the group and its companies
  • Managing the relationships between the group and external parties
  • Developing effective PR plans using appropriate strategies and tactics
  • Organizing and coordinating PR activities
  • Liaising with marketing professionals to ensure consistency in promoting corporate image
  • Arranging interviews and public speaking events and construct press releases
  • Advising company on handling sensitive public issues
  • Assessing opportunities for sponsorship and other partnerships
  • Analyzing results of PR campaigns and preparing reports
  • Building strong relationships with businesses and media companies
  • Communicating and addressing the media in a professional manner as and when required by management
  • Use a variety of channels to maximize the group and its exposure including social media
  • Identifying and engaging the appropriate target audience
  • Group events planning and execution to detail
  • Using a variety of channels to maximize the group and its exposure including social media

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry or a similar experience with a PR agency
  • A degree in public relations or journalism is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and computer proficiency
  • Proven experience in coordinating and managing effective PR campaigns through various channels
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Solid knowledge of social media (not limited to Facebook only)
  • Strong organizational skills, particularly in the field of event management
  • Creative and innovative approach to product marketing and public relations
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Confident public speaker
  • A creative mind
