Our client is currently looking for an IT Business Manager, reporting directly to the company's COO. The ideal individual will have a strong holistic knowledge of IT with a flair for sales in order to develop the B2B customer base and revenues. 

Function

  • Understanding the company’s portfolio of products/services while planning and developing a growth strategy in each area targeting specific business segments
  • Assisting with the preparation of business plans and budgets
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to promote the company’s products and services and addressing customer’s needs and requirements
  • Building and maintaining a strong business relationship with existing/prospective B2B customers
  • Creating presentations, business proposals and sales contracts as part of the sales cycle
  • Conducting research on trends while identifying and creating new business opportunities to generate a bigger sale volume
  • Working closely with Product development/implementation team to develop new business opportunities
  • Leading and mentoring a team of people and assist them in their personal development and to achieve sales targets

Requirements

  • Degree in IT, Engineering or similar
  • Preferably have 5 years of experience in B2B sales
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building, communication, presentation, negotiation & team building skills
  • Experience in leading a team of people
  • Sound holistic knowledge of the IT industry (ideally including cloud-computing, storage infrastructure and business applications such as ERP, DMS & POS)
  • Proficient in Maltese and English (verbal and written)
  • In possession of a clean driving licence
