Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor financial strategies, plans, budgets and KPIs to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to provide insights into business performance and future financial trends.
- Evaluate and advise on the financial implications of strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to the board of directors, executives, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting guidelines.
- Manage the organization's cash flow and liquidity, ensuring it has the necessary funds to meet operational needs.
- Oversee investment strategies and capital structure.
- Optimize capital structure to maximize shareholder value.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the organization's tax position.
- Ensure compliance with tax and fiscal laws and regulations.
- Lead and manage the Finance & Accounting team, oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Implement and maintain financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Draw up appropriate manuals governing accounting processes and internal controls
- Provide financial expertise during negotiations and integration processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a multi-industry environment.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
- Effective communicator with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Experience in managing finances for a company with operations in multiple industries.
