Chosen candidate will be providing extensive analysis on stock discrepancies using relevant systems and Microsoft Excel using advanced functions such as pivot tables, v-lookups and macros.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support CFO in developing and maintaining procedure for the operational daily inventory cycle counts and weekly shop/territory manager spot checks.
- Analysis of stock variances from these physical inventory cycle counts, investigating underlying issues and calling management for prompt action where necessary.
- Analysis of pending invoices and open PO data to address any gaps impacting perpetual stocks in system.
- Analysis of the weekly wastages and consumables cost by shop to address any gaps impacting perpetual stocks in system.
- Drive process improvements to reach goals and KPI’s.
- ??Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and board meetings.
- Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance (Partly qualified to be considered)
- Microsoft Excel – Advanced including Pivot Tables
- Attention to detail
- Basic inventory control concepts and proven ability to perform accurate record keeping
- Inventory control activities
- Accounting practices related to inventory
- Previous work experience in a retail environment
