Duties & Responsibilities
- To oversee operational policies and procedures and ensure that they are being implemented throughout the business.
- To oversee the day-to-day operations and work with a team of people and their respective departments
- To prepare operational and management reports and present to the Chief Executive Officer and/or Board of Directors, as and when requested.
- To review individual department plans on an annual basis, including sales or production goals, budgets, staffing and any structural changes to a department.
- To monitor and track the progress of all areas of the business.
- To lead and manage multiple projects by coordinating and overseeing project schedules and identify planning issues in advance while assisting in providing solutions.
- To apply sound decision-making and problem-solving in pressure situations and, if and when necessary, to execute a hands-on way of working to achieve the desired situation.
- To work closely with the Finance department to understand the company's financial position at all times.
Education/Experience
- A degree in management and/or business administration, or a relevant field. MSc/MBA is an asset.
- Minimum of seven years’ experience in a similar leadership position.
- Project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
- Ability to build strong teams that strive to achieve excellence.
- Fluency in English and Maltese.
