We are currently seeking to fill an Accounts Clerk position in a rapidly growing company. In this role, you will demonstrate your expertise in a variety of accounting practices, including accounts receivable and payable, salaries and vat returns.
Responsibilities
• Monitoring the offload of courier's cash balance and chasing for any due balances owed via phone calls and messages
• Reporting to the salary department any pending cash dues to be deducted prior to salary issuance.
• Liaising with service providers any issues the couriers might have within their cash application.
• Posting and issuance of sale invoices for the group of companies
• Upkeeping with the issuance of payments to third parties on a weekly and monthly basis
• Any other duties or assistance as may be required by the department from time to time
Qualifications
• Previous experience within Accounts.
• Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases.
• Superior math skills and an analytical mind.
• Familiarity with financial statements.
• Exceptional organizational skills and aptitude for numbers.
• Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal.
• Polished phone and email etiquette.
• Able to meet deadlines.
Preference is given to individuals with relevant experience on Shireburn / XERO
