 Our international client, operating within the pensions industry is seeking to recruit a Client Manager on a part time or full-time basis to join their team in the Malta Office.
The role is varied and will require a wide range of skills to undertake the day-to-day duties, ensuring Clients are all serviced in a compliant, professional and efficient manner.

The Client Manager will work closely and assist the Head of Compliance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and growing client relationships.

Duties include: 
  •  KYC checking, assisting the Head of Compliance in making sure that policies and procedures are aligned with government, legal and Company compliance standards
  • Processing new client applications
  • Being at the forefront of key regulatory changes relevant to the Pensions Industry
  • Checking the quality of advice being given and making sure that it is in line with the MFSA
  • Checking report requests to ensure all required documents are provided and completed correctly
  • Liaising with lawyers, overseeing and assisting with the production of legal documentation/contracts such as Terms of Business
  • Developing and maintaining an exceptional level of relationship to clients
  • Owning and co-ordinating the successful resolution of client enquirers
  • Liaising with the regulators as required
  • Updating all records and client database
  • Working closely with the team based in the UK
  • Being involved in a range of projects driven by Regulatory changes
Requirements: 
  • 2 years of experience within a similar role is required
  • Previous experience within the financial services, banking or pensions industry is required
  • Candidates must hold a good understanding of financial services as well as strong regulatory knowledge
  • Holding a compliance background would be an asset
  • Candidates must hold a Degree in Finance or Accounts or any other related Degree
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • This role is to be PQ’d by the MFSA
