Duties include:
- drawing up and maintaining of a risk register
- drawing up a compliance calendar and checklist
- reporting to the managing body on a daily basis
- drawing up policies and procedures
- monitoring compliance to policies and procedures
- keeping abreast of new legislation
- setting up and running quality assurance programs
- filing of statutory reports with MFSA, FIAU and any other regulatory body
- ensuring that all entities are compliant with all obligations under Maltese law
- preparing regular compliance reports for the Board of Directors
- performing periodic compliance risk assessments and taking charge of the compliance monitoring programme
- lead employee training sessions on compliance matters
- A minimum of 3 years working experience within a similar role
- A degree in Law, Accounts or Finance
- Excellent working knowledge of of key regulatory bodies such as MFSA and FIAU
- Candidates must be well-versed in the regulatory frameworks and the reporting requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese
