An international company with offices in central Malta is currently seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their in-house team, report to Head of Finance and continue strengthening their finance team in Malta.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Assisting in the month end process
- Preparation and submitting of VAT returns on a timely basis.
- Drafting of policies, procedures and controls.
- Liaising with and supporting external auditors.
- Assist the Head of Finance in the budgeting process.
- Coordinating with the Head of Finance in the implementation of new projects.
- A University degree in Accountancy or ACCA is a must for this role.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks on an individual and team basis, as applicable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Competence in Excel, general IT and accounting packages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
