Duties include:
- Act as Compliance Officer, PQ'd by the MFSA
- Support Company in general compliance and liaise with key stakeholders including MFSA, Central Bank of Malta, banks, VISA, Malta Business Registry
- Be responsible from the Compliance Monitoring Framework and its application.
- Provides guidance on proper application of laws, regulations and policies
- Coordinates business and regulatory specific compliance reviews, routine checks and approvals.
- Provide leadership for the Compliance program governance and delivery. Develop metrics and report on the effectiveness of programs.
- Ensuring that there is a comprehensive suite of policies and procedures that are complete and up to date
- Implements a monitoring and reporting mechanism to ensure Company’s compliance with prescribed regulations, laws and directives issued from the competent authorities
- Develops effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new associates as well as ongoing training for existing associates.
- Compile compliance reports to the Board in accordance with the policy and as required.
Requirements;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Compliance, or related discipline will be preferred;
- Already PQd as a Compliance officer with MFSA
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to learn and to adapt to a changing environment
- Detailed-oriented, proactive, self-motivated and self-driven;
- Excellent team player, with strong integrity and professional ethics;
- Excellent command of the English language
