Our client is currently on the look out for a Group IT Manager who will be responsible for all the IT infrastructure of our client and its subsidiary companies, the management of the technology services including IT infrastructure, Cyber Security, the incident management, and IT projects. Management responsibility for the IT team and its budget.

Description:
  • Guarantee the development, implementation, and maintenance of all the IT services which supports a 24hrs, 7 days a week business
  • Create, plan and implement the IT Services documentation and policies in order to solve the requirements of the different functions, guarantee the fulfilment of the internal indicators and ensure that legal and GDPR requirements are met
  • Direct, manage and monitor the ICT projects and IT infrastructure, optimizing the resources to guarantee their implementation and the deliverables to the involved areas
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of the Information security guidelines and keep a disaster recovery plan to minimize the loss of data risk for our client's information.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the technologic infrastructure following the fast growth plans of the company and the dynamic demands of the business to fulfil the strategy of the business
  • Oversee and negotiate the IT agreements with suppliers (including providers of software, infrastructure, and internet services) according to the contract, and define SLAs to ensure the performance of the different functions.
  • Manage IT assets and that all assets are recorded in the company’s ITSM tool.
  • Foster a team culture that is consistent with our client's mission, vision, and values
  • Inspire, coach, stimulate and motivate all team members. Coaching and guiding them and setting clear expectations and performance goals.
  •  while ensuring discipline in the teams. Be hands on and be a role model for the team
  • Plan the IT budget to make sure the expenditure is appropriate and is within the limits agreed
  • Provide additional duties as and when required to meet the business demands to maintain the service levels
  • Whenever possible to be available to ensure that there is business continuity during and after working hours
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to identify technology opportunities and risks and make recommendations for improvement
  • Monitor and analyze IT performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning
  • Be responsible for the training and creating awareness for all employees within the company on IT issues such as malware, cyber security etc
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, seminars and conferences to also establish personal networks
  • Any other duties which are assigned from time to time by the General Manager and are related to the job title/position.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or related field
  • Five Years experience in IT Management
  • Certified in CCNA/Networks, Microsoft Server, O365, MCSE or similar
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and have good communication skills
  • Possess multi-tasking, prioritizing and efficient time-management abilities
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within IT, with a track record of successfully leading technology initiatives and teams
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, systems architecture, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
