Our client has offices in 4 European countries and chosen candidate will be reporting to the CFO based in the UK.

Senior Manager will work closely with the CFO and will be responsible for building and managing relationships with banking, payments and other financial services partners, as well as partnering with internal stakeholders to enable successful delivery of said product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan and execute the company’s banking, payments and financial services strategy
  • Provide ongoing competitive analyses, including market insights and trends, industry benchmarking and potential business opportunities
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and ensure product offering and commercial position are clear, relevant, optimized and highly competitively
  • Plan and coordinate proposals, including RFPs as well as targeted proposal, for engaging with partnerships with financial institutions
  • Ensure that the economics of commercial deals are competitive and enable growth and scalability with financial efficiency
  • Manage, partner and influence internal stakeholders and business partners to deliver on business priorities and financial goals
  • Recruit, train and manage employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance; resolve problems.

Applicants must have a background within payments, banking and/or financial services and have experience developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  S/he will also negotiate and execute partnership agreements and manage co-creation activities with deliverables that are typically highly complex, strategic, and cross-functional in nature.

Other requirements include:

  • 8+ years’ business experience with related sales and partner management experience in the banking or payments industry
  • Demonstrated track record of planning, managing and closing deals
  • Proven record of implementing strategic initiatives and operational decisions
  • Demonstrated record of digital & financial products/services delivered from idea through to commercialization for product
  • Proven ability to partner, communicate and manage through multiple disciplines
  • Multi-national experience
  • Strategic thinking and thought leadership
  • Strong written and oral communication, including large-group presentations
