Seeking to recruit a risk officer to join one of the leading fintech company in Malta, who will be reporting directly to the board of directors. The role required being PQ'd by the MFSA. Our client is seeking to recruit candidates who either already are PQ'd by the MFSA or who hold the necessary credentials to be PQ'd.
Duties include:
Analyse and assess risks across the company’s functions;
Assist with the ongoing development and delivery of the risk management strategy;
Maintain the risk appetite framework for the company and risk register;
Drafting policies and procedures for review and approval as required;
Maintain the risk management and capital adequacy controls, as well as perform liquidity and stress Testing;
Creating and presenting risk and quarterly reports to the board;
Responsible for MFSA audits;
Compile and maintain the company’s risk appetite;
Conduct Risk Assessments.
Requirements:
Fluent in speaking and writing in English;
A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role;
Relevant university degree. Post-graduate degrees will be considered an asset;
Ability to work under pressure and reach deadlines;
Good team player and the capability of working in a fast paced environment;
Have a strong attention to detail.
